Welcome to Rescue Island Online!
While we are going through the many complicated phases of getting Rescue Island constructed and fully functioning here in Wisconsin, we still want to be of active help here online. During the years of planning and hard work involved, we have paid close attention to the great number of needs in the aquatic world. We hope to meet as many of those needs as possible, both here online and here in Wisconsin.
Rescue Island is a not for profit organization, and our needs are also many. We ask that you consider making a contribution to our cause. If we all help each other, we can eventually meet all of the needs of the animals and the people who love them so much.
Below you will find access to the help we have to offer at this time. Our services will increase as the funding allows. If you have a specific need that is not listed below, please email us for help. We will do everything in our power to accommodate your needs or provide you with a referral to someone who can. We currently have limited space for animals and are presently only able to take select species and sizes. If you have an animal in need of medical care or relocation to a permanent home, please contact us directly at bettababy@hotmail.com Be prepared to provide specific information about the animal including species, size, symptoms, water parameters (including temperature), and basic environment and equipment make & model information. We will respond to all emails, but please allow at least 24 - 48 hrs for a response. We will handle emergency medical situations first.
